Cake consultant Heather Long was born in Exeter and spent her childhood in Devon and Cornwall.
After leaving school in Tiverton, Heather became an apprentice reporter on the local newspaper - the start of a career that would take her via newspapers in Devon and Hampshire to the newsrooms of the BBC
Ann has worked in journalism and public relations for 30 years and during that time has handled almost every type of news story possible...both as poacher and gamekeeper!
Janet is a former managing director of specialist public sector outfit Citigate Communications.
She has extensive crisis management experience having advised the Information Commissioner’s Office following the verdict on the Soham murders where the Data Protection Act was wrongly blamed for preventing data sharing on Ian Huntley.
